After winning five more local and national awards for creative and marketing excellence in November, BusinessVoice’s capacity for humility is being pushed to its limits. The agency won twice at the recent MarCom Awards and three times at The Association for Women in Communication’s Crystal Awards ceremony.

“It’s very difficult to stay humble at a time like this,” said Bob Modest, BusinessVoice’s Vice President of Humility. “Our entire staff is fighting the temptation to break into fits of loud, whooping laughter and celebratory fist-pumping. I sent a memo discouraging those types of outbursts, but there’s only so much I can do. If we can all just keep a lid on our intense glee for the next 36 hours, I’m sure that any need we may feel to run through the streets and set fire to cars will pass.”

The MarCom Awards is an international competition for marketing and communication professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of marketing and communication programs and print, visual and audio materials. The Crystal Awards honor the year’s finest communication work from Northwest Ohio. The event is presented by the Toledo Chapter of The Association for Women In Communication.
